I just wanted to give you guys a little update. The site is definately
seeing more activity. As you know, we have a new, wonderful room with a
dedicated staff (Fractured Fairytales). Registrations have been on the
increase for awhile.
What you don't see pubicly, but we as admins do see in who is on; PRs are
made every night. Quite a few of them and they are populated heavily.
These people are visiting other rooms, investigating possible rp and
checking out storylines. So, if you're interested in getting the life's
blood of your realms flowing again, this is definitely an opportune time
to do so.
I myself am more of a presence on the site once again. And *gasp* I might
even rp again. You don't need medical attention, do you? *grins*
And once more I would like to thank all of you, everyONE of you, for
sticking with SD through trying and unpleasant times. Your loyalty and
devotion has touched me deeply, all the of SD staff as a matter of fact.
It stuns me, that in this time of fair weather chatters, you have remained
steadfast.
We may not be, or ever be the biggest chat site out there...but forgive me
if I think we are the best. And most of that is due to you guys, your
chatters and my wonderful staff. Thank you again and....come on home.

All storylines and such pertaining to the Warcraft universe, past, present, and up and coming. (Timelines in past games, books, lore, etc). So bring your characters you play in the game to rp in the room and for those who haven't ever played the game to get a glimpse into the rich universe of Azeroth and Outland. |

Welcome to Fractured Fairytales.
The Story:
Everybody grows up with fairy tales. Be it Grimm's, Mother Goose, or tales of your own design, there are countless stories that simply love to be told. However, as we grow, fairy tales get pushed aside in favor of real life, and those stories that want so badly to be told remain, chained by life and silent, in the backs of our minds.
But not anymore. Here, finally, is a place for those fairy tales to emerge, to grow, and to flourish. The classics, and brand new tales, and old tales with a new twist abound inside this room. If you have a tale to tell, come in and sit a spell. We're always waiting to hear more fractured fairy tales. |

I would like to welcome some of our people back home to Sanguinem Draconis. And I would also like to add that anyone that wishes to come back, are certainly welcome. No hard feelings, no questions asked. The past is just that, the past. Re-hashing it will do no good. We can only leave it where it belongs and hopefully move foward.

Addendum
Now that I have had the proper amount of caffine (is there any such thing?) and a hot shower; I want to clear up some things:
1) No one, NO ONE was banned from SD. If you think you have been or someone has speculated that you have been, they are wrong. If you've tried logging in and found your account gone, well, that is because the system removes accounts if they have not been logged into for 90 days. It's built into the ER code and we have not gone though the trouble of changing it. No, you were NOT banned.
2) Most of the realms no longer on the public list have been moved to hybrid. Not all, but most. Some for sentimental reasons...others *shrug* because they were not.
3) SD has been in the past, and continues to be, based on community. Sometimes communities have problems and fall apart. There were lots of problems a few months ago, some technical, some personal. The strength of a community depends upon the people that form it. All of you have always been the heart and soul of SD.
I have been told that many of those problems can be laid at my feet. And that is nothing but harsh truth. I apologize to you all for letting you down. I claim them and own them and can only say I'm sorry for making mistakes. I am, after all, only human (sadly).
That I could have, and should have, risen above the bullshit and acted accordingly, is without question. Again, I can only offer you all my sincere apologies.
4) Don't let the past dictate the future. If you want to come home (SD will always be your homes no matter where you go)...Then do so. I assure you again, no hard feelings, no questions, no attitude (*grins* what attitude?). I'm not begging, I'm offering.
5) Those of you who have, and have had my phone number. Feel free to call me if you wish to discuss things.
6) To those of you who have already found your way home. Have a cookie.  |
